I recently saw this 224.3 ft long by 1.6 ft tall, 900+ year old embroidered cloth on a visit to France. It tells the story of the Battle of Hastings, including the events leading up to it.
Despite its age, it reads a lot like a Monty Python cartoon—even more so when you have the guided British narration whilst viewing it. A historic artifact that’s educational & funny! I highly recommend it!

what's with the open-palmed slap to the bride's face? i mean, was Rick James the officiant at this wedding? "i now pronounce you man and wife - SMACK!"

Yeah, the slap on the bride’s face is pretty wild. This thing is full of gems!
