After Google announced the end of Google Labs, a lot of promising projects like App Inventor, a graphical programming language for creating Android Apps, got the axe. This was a shock for App Inventor users, who had created 2 million apps using the tool.
Luckily, App Inventor is getting a new home at the MIT Media Lab along with a grant from Google to start the MIT Center for Mobile Learning
