Some of my absolute favorite album covers have been painted by artist Mati Klarwein. Self described as “half German and half Jewish with an Arab soul and a African heart” his wish to reconcile the diverse worlds of his upbringing fueled his desire to be a healer with his art. Some of his killer covers include Miles Davis' Live Evil (shown) & Bitches Brew and Eric Dolphy's Iron Man
