I work in a "Activity Based Working" office in Sydney and the fit out is exactly as the article describes. The outer walls are completely glass, so you get lots of natural light. Every min people walk along the corridors and stair cases to their meetings and so you often bump into other colleagues or groups having converstations, giving the whole office a very collegial and creative atmosphere.

Too often office spaces simply are not conducive to the creative process. More needs to be done to faciliate design-corporate interaction and synergy.
