Best book I've read in years. This one is fresh and long enough for you to feel like you got your money's worth. So far there are two books in what is projected to be a trilogy but this (first) one is the best of them. Don't let the slow start get you down - there's plenty of action and intrigue and yes, magic waiting for you between the covers. This is one bildungsroman you won't want to miss.

The KingKiller Chronicles are two of the best fantasies I have ever read. Rothfuss is an incredible storyteller.

This second book in the series not only continued the wonder from the first book, but raised the bar higher. This book is worth reading many times over (as I've done) and will remain a favorite.

This is the second novel on the life of Kvothe, a boy who watched his parents die at age 12, spent 3 years as a beggar then made a university pay for him to study there.

So this book is LONG over due. Long over due like GnR's Chinese democracy was long overdue. Unlike Chinese Democracy it was worth the wait.

Whatever you do don't jump in on this book without having read the first one, The Name of the Wind.
