Required viewing. Cops as individuals? Often good people. As cops? NOT your friends. I once saw a lawyer's business card that said, "If you think you're going to say something smart, I GUARANTEE that it's stupid!" If you find yourself wanting to talk to a cop, tell your lawyer what you want to tell the cop.

Everyone should listen to this, including Part 2 with the prosecutor. Its long but make the time, sage advice you won't regret.

Just remember that to exercise your right to remain silent, the Supreme Court says you actually do have to tell the police that you are choosing to exercise that right. If you do not, you lose that right. Yeah...
