This is so interesting. It is really indicative of how badly people want to be in NYC. My friend lives with two roommates in a 3 bedroom house in Pittsburgh for the same price as these cubicles.

Photographer Annie Ling spent an entire year photographing the lives of Chinese immigrants from a Bowery tenement. I think we sometimes forget that tenement living still goes on today in modern cities.
