I LOVED this game on SNES. Hysterical announcer was both way over the top as well as way too repetitive.

Rip! is about to blow! I think the driving is a bit rigid, but the environment is fun and the weapons are cool too.

Pros: True classic, I spent hours and hours playing this game in co-op. Rock music, hovercrafts and explosions, rockin' isometric view and insane fun.
Cons: No (real) sequel, no remake. Blizzard should really develop a true sequel keeping the retro looks.

Made by Blizzard, back when they were known as Silicon & Synapse, Rock n' Roll Racing features customizable cars, weapons, and some rockin' midi versions of popular rock music (Like Bad to the Bone). Fun with one, but better played with a friend, you'll lose hours in this excellent Super Nintendo/Sega Genesis racing game.
