We all live in a particular world. This movie seems to be a critical about our particular world. Of course the director takes it to to extreme, but in the end I thing that's the message

back in the day when i first read about skinner and a skinnerian utopia, it seemed irrelevant and mechanistic. this movie is a pictorial depiction of words' vulnerability to chaos and what the outside may mean to us when it is fully mediated by someone else's desires. even though a bit disturbing, i myself found the movie brilliant. make sure not to miss the dance scene...

disturbing and unsettling to watch throughout, but when it's done will leave you with much to ponder about how vulnerable humans are to control and the insane extremes of parental protectiveness.

Eccentric and extremely "fun" to watch

Dark, haunting. Beautifully shot and brilliant plot.

provocative and unsettling, but with a meaning; a comment on modern society. One of the more original movies I've ever seen.

Great, twisted stuff. Minimalist, yet creepiness radiates from every scene. Basically perfect.

what the actors do or seem to be doing has to push the boundaries of artistic vision and engagement. It's an odd, mesmerizing, though unsettling piece of film.

This is one of the most uncomfortable, shocking and deeply disturbing movies I've ever seen. Released in 2009, it tells the story of a family of three siblings, all of whom have been imprisoned inside their house since childhood by their parents and taught never to leave. (They are well into their teenage years by the time the movie takes place.) Hard to watch, but more difficult to look away.
