I thought comparisons and analogies were wonderful instruments to capture the reader's attention and involve him more. Who doesn't love a well-constructed analogy? And a metaphor?

Made me smile all the way. My son is a teacher; he'd enjoy this. It seems most of the time people take grammar too casually, but some also go to the other extreme and take it too seriously!
