Foster the People's debut album is filled with catchy song beats and lyrics, like "Pumped Up Kicks", "Helena Beat", and "Call It What You Want". They were recently nominated at the MTV VMA's for Best New Artist. Can't stop listening to them!

Recently discovered them on Indie rock cafe. Their first EP just came out "torches." The first single released "pumped up kicks" is great.

This LA band has re-defined pop for me in all respects, writing, production, performance. Their album 'Torches' doesn't have a dull moment on it, without it being try-hard and over excitable.

If you like that MGMT sound you'll like this band. Although they have only 3 songs so far all of them are really good. 'Pumped up Kicks' is super catchy.
