This is one of my bikes. It is a great hybrid setup. You can ride it on the street or on a gravel trail. The geometry isn't too agressive, but isn't dorky looking, which makes it a good city bike. On downside is that there are no rear braze-ons so it is difficult to install a rear rack.

How is it with the rigid forks? I'm looking for a good road/lite trail bike. Was checking out the 29'ers. Any thoughts?

i ride it in the city 90% of the time, so i'm into the rigid forks. i think the bad boy with the solo fork has some shocks though. i'd test ride them... i think the 29'er is definitely more trail oriented than road
