Sounds like a great combo. Any other UK hip-hop groups you'd suggest? I lived in London 6 years ago and everything at that time was garage and dub (neither of which are my style).
at the moment i'm rocking a few great hip-hop outfits. i'll bust a rec or two up shortly. i hear ya about the garage and dub and all... the best thing is that there's been what i like to call an 'intelligent response' to dubstep and garage over that period you spoke of. try James Blake, Burial, and Mount Kimbie on that front.
