No point in adjusting entries manually for now, since it's a systemic problem; I can handle it (and entries like it) once the tools are in place.
The main question is what form user editing will take... Wiki-style editing seems unnecessarily complex for simple 500 char entries. Maybe urbandictionary-style upvoting of definitions, though not enabled until there's at least 2 so no bias towards #1?
Was mostly thinking if you wanted to add additional tags, images, urls, etc... to a result. We wouldn't let users edit each other's comments or recommendations themselves. Ideally, if you know about the game and write a better recommendation, then that will attract followers to you and give you more clout on the site. Also, the newest recommendations appear first on result pages.
That brings up a related problem: 'Clout' and followers are interesting for 'social sharing', but they're useless for Hunch's main purpose: A highly searchable directory of consumable things.
If I gain all my clout in tech, and write a 'lollol Van Gogh sux' review of a van gogh painting, I'll be the highest-clouted author and the best description won't be what people see when they search Van Gogh
If other peoples' recommendations are sacrosanct, what entries really need is a 'description' space, separate from the 'recommendation' space, that follows its own rules.

Let me know what you want fixed and I can take care of it. More user editing coming in the pipeline, so you'll soon be able to do this on your own.
