From the trailer it looks like just a Welsh Wes Anderson riff, but it's much more interesting and subtly played than that. Highly recommended.

A love story about 15 year old Oliver Tate. Amazing script, the movie is written and directed by Richard Ayoade. The soundtrack is incredible as well, done as a solo project by Arctic Monkey's front man Alex Turner. A wonderful sub-plot is developed between Oliver and his mother, who might be cheating on Oliver's dad, a nerdy marine biologist. A romantic comedy actually worth watching.
