It is a very interesting flow although a bit hard to follow at least in the beginning. Could be useful for a fast insight.

This is incredible. It traces the roots of scifi from way back before science even existed!

I can follow the connections to the literature I have already read and see what influenced it (according to this artist's opinion) and what influence it had on later works. secondly it provides a greater literature context for the individual work. Patterns are always helpful in understanding. Things, works of art exist in within networks or patterns.

Well constructed and interesting to follow the different "paths". Many of my favorites are mentioned, and some I need to find I think.

Put together in such a way that only a SciFi would really understand the complexity of such a flow.

I am in awe of people who can visually represent such massive amounts of information, and especially of those who can do it so whimsically.

A ton of creativity and research went into this flowchart. Lots of little inside jokes are hidden throughout, so be sure to take a close look. Only wish I was more familiar with some of the books.
Figmentfiction recommended this 1 year, 12 months ago
A vaguely cerebral looking rendition of the history and mutations of the science fiction genre. Super detailed.
