Absolutely love turntable - it's like a smart, social version of Pandora. Finding other people that like video game music as much as myself and sharing music = *so awesome*

Me and my coworkers have taken to a standing Turntable session every Friday. It's been a really fun way to get to know my colleagues musical tastes — and find some great new music.

An internet dj "game" in which 5 dj's rule the tables, playing a single track at a time before passing the spotlight to the next dj, catering to the audience and other dj's votes of either LAME (track eventually gets skipped) or AWESOME (track earns you points for new avatars / bragging rights).

I spend entirely too much time on it.

Great new music service. Other users act as DJ's, and anyone listening can provide instant feedback. Plus, it's a great way for musicians to showcase their work.

It's a lot of fun. Definitely not the best for passive listening (although it's doable). You always want to engage and interact.

Finally tried this tody and loved it! Share music with a virtual room of people. It's like being at a party where there is equal control over the sound system.

this gives me faith in the internet again. There's a library of songs to select from, you can add what other people are spinning to your DJ queue, no pirating needed. Sure you run into cliques and maybe even the occasional troll but in general great people excited about sharing music.

Very cool website for sharing music. Allows for up to 5 dj's in a room, so ego and pride play a role in the music that plays. Protip: if you want to dj a room all to yourself, name your room Rebecca Black - Friday. Works for me everytime.

All my friends ask me for my latest music, and Turntable.fm lets me share it without ever having to upload an MP3 file. Everyone gets a little avatar, and when you "Awesome" a song, your head starts bobbing and you give the DJ a point. Makes listening to music alone in iTunes a little less attractive for sure...

you play a track, everyone in the room votes to 'like' it and keep listening, or 'dislike' it and skip to the next track. then another person plays another track to follow it up. you hear new music and great sets get played. i wished for an app like this 3 days ago and today i found out it already exists! hours and hours of fun.

This service is just a lot of fun, the user group is small now so the troll's are non-existent. Excited to watch as this service grow up and add features.
