I have been a big fan of Amon Tobin now for some years, and this latest release of his is my favorite since Bricolage. Very ethereal, he's really getting back to his disjointed, "Sample/Slice/Forget" roots. Chopped bossa nova horns slowed and reversed, this whole album makes the sun rise on rainy pavement. But there are dark clouds on the horizon...
