Longform.org is a new treasure to me. It introduces me to some the best writing from magazines and newspapers. Readers can also recommend stories (but I guess they would rather have the authors do this themselves) I think is worth your time to check it out.

Longreads has some of the best essays. Kind of embarrassed that for a long time I thought people were just talking about any articles that were long when they said instapaper was great for Longreads.

I highly recommend this tool. In the age of sound bytes, long-form journalism is a luxury and an anomaly. Longreads is a curated article search engine just for thought pieces from the atlantic, new yorker, vanity fair, and lit quarterlies. Legere longa!
