This is a great subject for a documentary. The obscure arcade at Chinatown Fair has been making rare forays into the headlines, lately because of its storied past and, i think, a sense of nostalgia for '80's arcade culture. If you care about any of this, definitely chip in by May 31st so they can get the funding they need to finish this project.

That sucks Chinatown Fair is closing. Now no place to play arcade games in Manhattan. I guess Barcade is only place to go now.

@chris - yeah, it's really pretty sad that manhattan is basically arcadeless. the consoles (and presumably the players) from Chinatown Fair are moving to a new space called Next Level in Brooklyn, though.
