I love this kind of projects. Only realized the true value of photography when I was travelling, away from family and friends. Photos truly brings happiness and relief. It reminds me another project that I found thanks to Stumble Upon, which is a lot more personal and therefore, moving: dearphotograph.com/

There is a sense of American historical value when you see nostalguc photos of the past...wherw were you when this took place? It's great fun or sad...

I love this take on “now and then” photos. It’s amazing to see real-life context of the older photos—sometimes hardly changed at all, other times changed a bunch!

This is amazing. It's a series of modern photos juxtaposed with older photos taken at the same location years before. Whoever thought of this and actually delivered on it should be proud.

A series of "then and now" shots from around the country and the world. The juxtaposition is striking, often humorously so.

That one photo where the woman is walking her rabbit (odd) is very close to my job! These are cool though. Some look very good, almost like early sketches of what was to come.
