The monologue stands on its own. The fact that he destroyed Trump's candidacy, the Birthers, and delivered this waiting out Seal Team 6 is historic.

The night it aired it was a great moment of political comedy, but after the news broke about Osama bin Laden it became an important political-historical moment - certainly one in Obama's presidency. Definitely worth a meta re-watch with the knowledge that Obama had greenlit the raid on Osama's compound.
