I like his voice a lot, and the shimmering blips frolicking in the background!
Sometimes the backing vocals seem unnecessary / dorky? The production is very good though.
Are they an NYC band?

cool. yeah, they're a (very new) NYC band and they do all their own recording and production out of an apartment in Harlem. They announce shows via their FB page www.facebook.com/pages/The-Alphabets/161780507194649

Pretty good stuff. I like a lot of the guitar arrangements—especially the western sounding, slow strumming parts. I wouldn’t mind some more instrumentals. I’d like it more if the singers were better (but, hey, they’re definitely better than I am at singing).
