Great way to discover and support creative projects. If you like a particular artist (musician, web comic illustrator, software developer), chances are that they've made a campaign on this website at some point. However, it's open for exploitation. Be wary of projects that ask for more money than they actually need.

Great crowdfunding resource to help creative ideas come into reality. Build a page presenting your idea, and send updates on your porject's progress as it grows from concept into production.

Fantastic product: As an entrepreneur, I'd never go to a bank for a loan to start a project, I'd first start here: It's like getting market research/feedback just for an idea. If it can sell a community, it can sell in reality.

Kickstarter has entirely changed the game for creative endeavors and been a huge player in creating the definition for Crowd-Funding. Platform is extremely well designed and functions exactly as it should.

Love. We think of Kickstarter as "removing the gatekeepers who have historically made all the decisions within creative industries." With increasing interest from the consumer to have a voice in the creative process, why leave the decision making to the "experts"? Support from your actual fans is what ultimately matters!
