I recommend reading this. Then, whenever you have a chance, do try different salts. And look into the nutritional value etc. I was amazed at the difference in taste and especially pissed really that the salt most americans use is the rainy poury salt, which is bad for us. No food value and so over processed it no longer classifies as food at all. I LOVE PINK HIMALAYAN SALT.
I eat a lot of salt and consider the topic of "gourmet" salts an open debate. I *think* I notice a difference, but cannot really tell if it's a process of suggested difference or if it's a real difference. Great rec from @hugo.
