After much research, I had replaced my good old (and durable) Klipsch reference series with Focals - well not replaced really, Klipsch went to the bedroom, Focal to the living room. Super clear sound, amazingly tight bass - coupled with their subwoofer of course. These are pretty old by now though (4 years maybe?). They have much newer models you should check out. They look pretty radical too.
