No remakes will be able to overshadow this '80s classic. I kinda like the sequel better, watched it a bunch of times. My favorite scene: the iceblock challenge.

A classic. While Jackie Chan toned down his normal frantic/slap-stick/funny self and took on a more serious character, he cannot touch Mr. Miyagi's austerity and tranquility. Also, it's where Mr. Coles got his nickname - Cobra Kai ("sweep the leg!").
