A story that needs to be told . . . A "triumph of the human spirit" movie, as well. Highly recommend.

Excellent 2006 documentary chronicling the immigration (by US invitation) in 2001 of young Sudanese men after their civil war left them stranded in camps. Poignant assimilation process that dispersed them throughout major US cities, that highlighted the simple things they never experienced before, like running water, and electricity. Watch these guys take an escalator, airplane, grocery shop.

Great doc, although I found myself wishing I knew more about each man... but I guess a doc can't be 10 hours long
