This is a cool idea. Surprisingly quick too. Not good for those that have fears about online privacy though.

Sometimes the native search in Gmail or Google Docs is fine... For all the other times, there's Greplin. Great to be able to search across multiple services (evernote, facebook, delicious, dropbox, twitter... and on and on!). You get a good chunk of search indexing for free, and can pay for even more. And it's a fast (and well organized) search! Think spotlight for the web.

Excellent recommendation from a person I follow. If you're like me at all, you have dozens of online email and networking accounts. Trying to recall where you saw that "one thing" can be tiresome and frustrating. Viola! Greplin gives you a kind of clearing house for your online IDs....if you can remember all of them.

Great tool for searching your "logged-in" services like Facebook and Gmail. WAY better than existing mail client for searching Gmail on your mobile iPhone.

I use it to dig way down in my 2207 MB of Gmail messages and attachments or my G Docs, when I can't remember for the life of me when or even by whom that piece of information or that pdf file was sent.

very very useful and unexpectedly fast. greplin lets you search your personal data cloud of gmail+twitter+facebook+more at the same time. it made me wonder why gmail is so slow with search when greplin is pretty much instant and it's searching more. try it!
