Just had brunch at this funny little place and it was really delicious. Their menu is completely insane, featuring at least 100 different items on one small piece of paper.
Also their website www.shopsins.com/ is probably the best restaurant website I've seen i.e. isn't a stupid Flash page.

Now located inside the Essex Street Market, Shopsin's, and it's namesake proprietor, have lost none of their "charm." Learn the rules and stick to them if you're going to eat here.

You have to watch the doc called "I Like Killing Flies". It follows the crazy / brilliant / hilarious owner and chef. Great doc on its own even without ever having eaten there.
