Love to drive down here from Seattle a couple times a year. Despite being much the same in ways to Seattle, San Fran is still a lovely place to visit and I look forward to going down there.

Great public transit, great restaurants, great parks (borrow or bring a dog for the full experience!), great sights and museums, great people!
Cons: Can be quite expensive. Extremely variable weather, which isn't always a negative.

You will have a great vacation. There's a trolley, great hills for rollerbladers/skateboarders. The weather is pretty nice and there is tons to do. Chinatown here is fun!
Cons: The buses get packed.

Wonderful city to visit! Nice weather, great shopping, excellent food, so much to do and see! I love the culture and arts here. Worth a trip!

so many foodies in the bay area, especially berkeley and wine country
Cons: style - -. acme of style in sf is a graphic tee. probably the most stylish pedestrians are the city's homeless.
