It's great, i'm pretty sure that I can't see it all that matters in this beautiful city, in my whole life.
Cons: Traffic.

Lots of amazing sites, statues, fountains, squares, museuems, ruins, etc... Good public transportation. Easy to get to and from. There are bargains here and there for the prepared traveller.
Cons: Confusing to get around. Easy to get lost. Easy to overpay for food or beverages.

Walkable. If you stay in central Rome, you can easily walk to every major historical site. Wonderful place to spend five days or a week, no lengthy stay required.
Cons: It's becoming increasingly hard to find authentic restaurants that doesn't cater to tourists!

You'd be living in history... I think that would be a wonderful feeling.
Cons: Bad traffic.

the amount of history, the physical ruins in this city, the longstanding structures- the architectural sights are just astonishing.
Cons: some blocks smell like pee in the summer.
