Although I still don't quite know why I love the sims so much, (after all, you just watch people lead more interesting lives than you are) I spent just as many hours playing this as the other sims games. The expansion packs are rubbish but I still end up buying them. They've got me hooked good and proper

On The Sims 3 you can live your dream, make silly people, have life long dreams for your Sims, and you can even make Sims while making your Sims fall in love! I strongly recommend The Sims 3 to people who are creative and for people who just need to pass the time away with fun!

Long-time fan of the series. The addition of fine-tune controls on facial features and genetics makes it much more entertaining

Great game, and allows for a lot of customization. Create your own sims and control their lives as 'God'. It also allows for extensive house building and customization.

The loading times are shorter and you can explore the whole city without a load screen. Picking out personality traits, careers, homes, and everything else is fun. Also it`s enjoyable to play "God"
Cons: Buying the expansion packs brings more fun things to the game, but it gets expensive. I`m sticking with the base game for now and I`m going to wait for the prices on the expansion packs to go ...
