My favorite author of all time. I've read all of his novels except for Timequake, some of them multiple times. I'm saving Timequake, not because I don't want to read it, but because I don't want to know that I don't have any more left to read.

I hate that he is always categorized in the sci-fi section, just because some people judge that genre like it's not literature.Vonnegut is the kind of author that was always ahead of his time, not only as a writer but as a thinker too.

He has a message and he tells it in a funny and powerful way. Just truly insightful writer.
Cons: Even though he is funny his powerful books can be depressing at times...

He has the power to make you cry and then laugh at yourself for doing it. He is no holds bard - he says exactly what he thinks and means what he says. He is the funniest serious person out there.
Cons: Busy, busy, busy.

Straight up: You will either love him or think nothing of him. His humor is dry and witty - definitely an acquired taste.
