This album gives me the hope that I need to survive. In this world, souls may exist, and it's okay to have one. But we all must lament the passing of childhood, and respect the gravity of the situation . . . reality commands that you obey, and I command reality.

The musical evolution of Metronomy is comparable to that of the Arctic Monkeys. Initially their music is energetic, raw and vibrant. After growing-up, their music becomes more restrained and layered.
So on English Riviera, Metronomy sounds better than ever. Current favs are Loving Arm and Corinne. Highly recommended.
