Sarcastic, funny and definitely nerdy. This is definitely more than your everyday stick figure comic.

I read it every day. Very uneven quality, but the funny ones are out of this world.

Why are you still reading this? Go to xkcd.com/archive/ ASAP.

jaseball25 recommended this 1 year, 8 months ago
On top of being funny, it occasionally just makes you think about life. And then makes you laugh right afterward.
librarianhawk recommended this 1 year, 8 months ago
smart, funny, and mostly drama free
ccarnevale recommended this 1 year, 8 months ago
One of the most smartly written webcomics EVER, xkcd turns the most obtuse physics, math, and programming concepts into incredible jokes, while always providing the occasional bit of wisdom that makes you go, "Whoa, the world is huge."
jeffyao recommended this 1 year, 8 months ago
hilarious stuff that's not afraid to go over people's heads (including mine sometimes)
aaron-parsons recommended this 1 year, 9 months ago

The absolute best webcomic out there for any type of geek, bio, chem, math, computer science, etc., take a look and find the perfect inside joke for your dorm room, office, refrigerator, etc!
AsleepAndAwake recommended this 1 year, 9 months ago
Reminds me of a comic I used to draw in high school. Hilarious.
burntangel recommended this 1 year, 9 months ago
The best maths comic on the web
TheLugal recommended this 1 year, 9 months ago
"A webcomic of romance,
sarcasm, math, and language."
These should be a compiled book; "How to become a geek."
Quick note: Remember to read the alt-text. (The little bubbles with text that pops up if you hold the mouse over the images.)

There is no denying that Randall Munroe is very very smart, and the comic he created is almost always just as smart and frequently very funny. Be forewarned, the GEEK is strong with this one. It certainly isn't for everyone, but if you are a member of the group to which these comics are targeted, they are phenomenal. (and yes, most of the time his characters are, artistically, a little flat)
thedunc recommended this 1 year, 9 months ago
Incredible web comic that has become a part of my everyday life.
patantdoh recommended this 1 year, 9 months ago
Stick men cartoons many of which are based on science, maths or philosophy. And they're funny.
Armathendae recommended this 1 year, 10 months ago
It actually remains to be funny on a weekly basis even after 900+ strips.

Never fails but XKCD has something funny to say
bandrews recommended this 1 year, 11 months ago
xkcd, for the internet smart, physics smart, math smart, basically the smart.
oErino recommended this 2 years ago
This is by far the best webcomic I have ever read. But I'm a pretty huge geek so maybe it's just me. Randall Munroe is very clever, but I have to admit, as I am not majorly into computer programming, some of the jokes do go over my head.
ojarva recommended this 2 years, 1 month ago
Excellent comic for nerds, mathematicians and others
piddlebutt recommended this 2 years, 4 months ago
This appeals to the geek and math nerd in me. It makes me giggle.
Cons: Not everyone can get all of the jokes. Not a intelligence problem but a knowledge one.
patrickmoberg recommended this 2 years, 6 months ago
Wonderful writing. Great balance of humor and emotion.
Cons: Very tech centric. Can be difficult for non-nerds to get some of the jokes.
thelambinator recommended this 2 years, 6 months ago
Smart, witty, emotionally challenging.
Cons: Dumb people won't get it. Wait, is this REALLY a con?
chrisestes recommended this 2 years, 6 months ago
Clever, smart and witty. Like some people said, you might not always get it, or it might be a groaner, but I don't call those cons. Sometimes humor can teach and sometimes it should be painful.
Cons: I forget to check it :(
nakedxbabe recommended this 2 years, 7 months ago
It's original at first.
Cons: But then the next few one's you see are so predictable and i do get it it's just so boring and unfunny after just a few comics.
steverecio recommended this 2 years, 11 months ago
Raptors
Cons: Raptors
matthew555 recommended this 3 years, 5 months ago
Make physics and computer programing funny. If you are into that stuff, this is comic is for you.
Cons: Every once in a while will reference something very few people understand, and as a result will be funny to very few people.
dystopic_thinker recommended this 3 years, 7 months ago
Often funny with many in jokes most easily known by those with a science/engineering background.
Cons: A bit of a conceited/patronizing vibe to it, somewhat myopic.
spikesnsilk recommended this 3 years, 7 months ago
Vast archive stuffed with a variety of comics: single panel, multi-panel, funny, romantic, artistic, sci-fi, dialogue, no dialogue, nerdy, the list goes on. Something for everyone.
Cons: Can get pretty geeky and hard to understand. But don't let that deter you.
peter recommended this 3 years, 8 months ago
Most of these comics are hilarious, usually in a nerdy way, and new ones come out pretty frequently.
Cons: Sometimes you’re best off having an engineering degree to get the jokes, e.g., xkcd.com/26/
kwayne0404 recommended this 3 years, 11 months ago
Hilarious, most of the time. You have to read the mouse-over text to really get some of them.
Cons: Not all of them will be understood by everyone.
chris_thomson recommended this 4 years, 1 month ago
Best. Comic. Ever.
Cons: Extremely geeky (although that can taken as being good or bad).
mossisen recommended this 4 years, 1 month ago
Intelligent
Geeky in a good sense, but definitley not exclusively for nerds
Regularly updated
Cons: Sometimes, non-nerds dont seem to get a hang of it
hugo recommended this 4 years, 1 month ago
my favorite webcomic. it's raw. anything that mixes linux commands with romance is a keeper.
