Risotto is delicious.
Cons: It’s super easy to cheat and just make it from a packet—wouldn’t win culinary awards, but still tastes pretty good!

Delicious, with a lot of variations, is a traditional primo in northern Italy.
Cons: Needs the right rice, good wine, real parmesan, and gourmet ingredients.
Only for good cooks

When it's good, it's great. For many years I didn't "get" risotto because I was eating bad versions of it.
Cons: Hard to make well.

better: wild mushroom risotto. add some minced truffle for good measure.
