This is the game that really took metroid to another level, the first metroid is great but super metroid adds in so many good platforming elements and items that it's in a whole other league than the original metroid. If you haven't played this game you're really missing out, it's one of the best on the system and still the best metroid game.

In the Metroid saga, this one is tough to beat. The original is fantastic, and this one takes the next step making it unforgettable.
