This is one of my favorite fried chicken dishes in Manhattan. You need to go during the week or at off hours because it gets a little crazy.

Bacon Peanut Brittle, a couple app and fried chicken will do you good. Place has gotten a lot more crowded since NY Times reviewed it so you might have to wait.
