Classic, so much to learn from this book. Heller understands human nature like so few, and then wraps it all up in entertaining humour, perfect.

Superb, hillarious, gripping. If you haven't yet done so, read it, if you have, read it again, and if you're currently reading it, get off the internet and get back to that book.

Just reread this, always a good read. I love the absurd lack of self awareness in the narration.

My cat Yossarian got his name from this book! Funny and disturbing and exciting, a classic.

A little slow to start and a good dose of SAT words, but the writing in this book is so good—the dialogues and characters’ thoughts are excellent. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wasn’t assigned it in school.

Humor mixed masterfully into an otherwise heavy novel. The characters are very well developed. I think I read this almost non-stop. You'll understand what a "catch-22" is.

This is definitely one of the funniest books in the world; excellent story; keeps you guessing the whole way through
Cons: It is also a very sad story

So very, very relevant. Coined the term to express absurdity of modern contradictions. Gallows humor and just plain Gallows.
