Epic concept album by And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead! While certainly bombastic, this record is a lot of fun and represents an concerted effort to resurrect the deep album format, so you'll want to listen to the entire thing in order to understand what's going on. It's split into two "movements," one in they key of D and the second in F.

sort of a saga surrounding how this was released, and i got an advance copy last fall, but i think the cd digipak came out in February. i think you can check it out on SoundCloud, too!
