me and my dad go at this all the time because he likes to point the fact i had spelling issues when i was younger.... so its a bit painfull to go down memory lane with this lol

Always fun. If you are long distance, you can play Literati on Yahoo! Games with friends/family.
Cons: Sometimes, one word knocks the whole board off balance and makes it extremely difficult to place high-scoring words.

I think of the official scrabble dictionary as just a part of the game--it should come in the box standard.

Classic game - it also helps a lot if you know the legal 2 letter words
Cons: Scrabble dictionaries take some liberties - where regular dictionaries don't - with words like 'za'
