Nice comedy, I wish there was more of it!

Brilliant and fun! Some jokes are cheap and overused but this is basically a must-see if you work in IT and/or like geek jokes.

It's like that show Big Bang Theory, except good. And British. Haha, uh, every episode is hilarious and clever. I put one on for my friends to watch and I say "Oh this is a good one," but I say that every time.

Fabulous acting, brilliantly detailed, accurate and sometimes painfully close to home in its geek humor, and off the wall (it's British - but that just means that it doesn't pander to the least common denominator) humor that pulls no punches in the best episodes. Downside - not all of them are as wonderful as the best of them.

absolutely hilarious British comedy. The first season starts off a little slow, but once you get into the 2nd season, they are on a roll. Several episodes have had me almost pee laughing so hard.

Tech guys should like this show. Some of it is zany British humor but some episodes are hilarious. Its on Netflix Instant if you have it

One of the best geek-oriented shows ever. Plus, because its British, the dialogue is quick and witty. This is one of the few shows I will re-watch over and over.

This show is screamingly funny. It follows a very small IT department of an English company, where they answer the phone by asking "Have you tried turning it off and on again?" Chris O'Down and Richard Ayoade are the funniest duo since the Odd Couple.

An incredibly funny show about 3 weirdo coworkers and their misadventures. Wry, witty and absurd. If you don't laugh in the first 10 minutes, you may not have a soul.

Hilarious. A story about three people in an IT department, and their terrible luck in social settings.
This is written by Graham Linehan, the same guy who brought you Father Ted and Black Books.

This made me laugh, because it was a bit too close to reality. A quick clip from a great show out of the UK. The IT crowd.

The amazing love child of Big Bang Theory and The Office. Tons of geeky humor to be had. Lots of little things, too- Roy's shirts, Moss's ramblings, and a lot of the set decor are legit geekage.
Pros: Hilarious. Full of actual techie humor. Tons of recurring jokes.
Cons: Since it's British, each season ("series") has only six episodes.

LOVE this series. It is too funny. Great mix of characters. Easy to watch. You can view it instantly on Netflix.

Humor inspired by geek culture. Similar to The Big Bang Theory, but with a British twist, meaning nastier and drier.
tortoiseshell recommended this 2 years, 7 months ago
Love this show! Hilarious and bizarre. Chris O'Dowd and Richard Ayoade are brilliant. Tons of tiny geeky details- shirts and posters and pop culture references. Definitely a must-see.
Cons: None at all!
ogiovetti recommended this 2 years, 7 months ago
Elevates absurdism to a new art form, gets a lot better when the son comes into Season 2.
Cons: Seasons are so short. (Update: Heard Season 5 *is* actually a go!)
mkrumbein recommended this 2 years, 9 months ago
No one does comedy about awkward social mores like the British. Strikes home for nerds and office workers.
Cons: Writing is uneven; a blisteringly funny episode will be followed by a lackluster one.

So so so funny. I've cried laughing watching this. It's so awkward and stupid. Love it to bits!
brasmussen recommended this 2 years, 10 months ago
Funny. Geek. Different. Short.
Cons: Few episodes per season.

I loved this show! Yep...sad to say I understood most of the technobabble. I loved the T-shirt slogans both the boys wore during the series
