This has set the bar for every anime stereotype you can name, horrible voice acting, lackluster animation, clichéd storylines, seizure inducing special effects. But it is a classic, recommended for kids 12 and under.

it's POKEMON.
Cons: cheesy in every way. but of course, it's a kid's show! watch it in Japanese, I promise it improves. and anyway, how can you hate pokemon? that's just insane.
