Love a great historical mini-series, and this one is a great quality production. *And* you get to perv at Henry Cavill.

My wife, a history buff, complained it has too many historical inaccuracies (some unnecessary in her opinion)

I've nearly finished the last season. If you're a history buff you can go through this and nitpick all the inaccurate bits.

The political-intrigue part is sometimes a bit much for me, but otherwise very well done and entertaining.

Not quite as enjoyable to me as Rome or The Wire, but still an engrossing well made TV series.
