One of my personal favorites when it comes to PC gaming. Definitely worth trying out, but watch out because it has the tendency to become a time sink.

A great game that allows players to create their own objects, and they invented the construction of buildings in the world, rooted in fantasy. The whole game is basically one big sand pit, non-limiting in any way the freedom of the player. Perfect for creative minds who dislike to have limits.

Great adventure/strategy/survival indie game - from punching trees to exploring caves. Craft your own tools and weapons, fight the zombies and prepare your daily meals! Delicious soundtrack with staggering graphics. There's no time for boredom. Not only for the players who enjoy adventure, but for the ones with a penchant for creativity.

What I like to do is find underwater caves or... big floating cliffs and build modern glass houses in/around them. And then build waterfalls flowing through them... and also fight monsters that I'm pretty sure are bent on my creation's destruction.

This is obviously the best game. And lots of fun multi-player, mods and maps too.

Minecraft is alright at the moment, Once the adventure update comes out I might go fucking gaga like everyone. I'm a man with needs and this game can't meet those needs yet. The best times I have with this game is watching a man play this at Denny's at 1am. I have seen that man play this game every time I have visited that Denny's that is dedication.

Love the game, it's just the ability to create everything. I love to go onMultiplayer and ride the minecart systems and create hidden cave homes!
I suggest Socialgamer for the quieter server.
And I suggest the Reddit servers for the 25 all-the-time servers.
Can't wait for 1.8!

Indie games don't sell 3 million copies unless they're spectacular and that's exactly what Minecraft is. It combines the childhood joy of building with legos with the confused excitement of being dumped in a seemingly infinite world with no guidance and it's all topped off with the fact that every world is unique and every adventure is yours only...

Never mind the graphics: it's got amazing, down to earth gameplay that lets you do whatever you want. Building, fighting and exploring the world gives you plenty to do. It's also made quite the number of great Lets Plays on Youtube!

If you haven't played Minecraft yet, you should. Build impossibly huge mega structures or just hollow out a mountain, either way, find a way to protect yourself from the monsters that game at night. Once you're done with that build a minecart rollercoaster in the nether, or construct that suit of diamond armor you've always wanted. There's so much to do, all the time.

Stranded on an island? Punch trees! The game might seem very plain and boring on the outside, but this game has shown to have the capability to build some fairly amazing structures. And just to top the game off, it has skeletons, zombies and other dangereous creatures roaming the night which can prove to be quite lethal. It has a free builder mode on the website if you wish to try it out for free.

An amazingly unique game which lets you create amazing structures and explore a fun and dynamic world. New features are constantly being added so the game continues to evolve.
Cons: It can be a bit confusing to dive right in if you don't know a bit about the game to start. Also, the frequent change can make it more confusing and there are still a lot of features missing.
