I first played this game because of the cutesy stick person graphics. I found myself laughing 5 minutes in and told myself that that was pretty funny. I found myself doing this all throughout the game. Definitely a well-written, satirical game.
It's 2D, minimalistic game style which makes for the art with the sarcastic in-game descriptions and witty plots which are very blatantly rip-offs from numerous pop culture references. While it's not a long-term game (meaning once you reach the top, you wouldn't get anywhere), it's great for a brief reprieve until the level cap. Also, you'll be intellectually tickled while playing.
This is a great browser based turn based adventure game. It can be a simple diversion if you want it to be, or you can take it seriously and participate in some very challenging quests. The user community is mature and very helpful to new users.
I used to play this when it first came out. It was great, but I quit for a couple years and my character was gone when I came back. Made a new character, but never really got back into it. Very funny at times, and fun to play.
This isn't a long-term commitment game, and you only get some 40-odd adventures a day. It sounds like a lot, but it goes away quickly, so this game is good if you want a brief half-hour or so to be mildly entertained.
Funny, if you manage to catch all of the references. There's a wiki, help/discussion forums, and a strong player base of vocal nerds who help the game continue developing. Cons: I need to use the wiki more than I'm proud of. Addictive!
