She's one of the best authors I've ever read. You can read her over and over and always find something new to love. Her short stories are superb, her novels are divine. She's a fantastic writer of human experience and her writing is funny not because it tries hard to be funny but because life is just funny sometimes. And because sometimes it's laugh or cry.

Fantastic author
If you live in Colorado, some of her books are really fun - set locally. Otherwise, she's received more awards than any other currently living science fiction writer.
