What can I say? This was the very first VHS tape I loaded into my family's gargantuan VCR - top-load, roughly the size of a modern-day microwave oven. Analog all the way...but it didn't matter a bit. This movie was a big part of the magic that was childhood for me. I've seen it literally over 300 times. So...based on my written homage to this film here publicly, thinking it's a strong reco!! ;)

When I was younger we used to watch my grandpa's recorded-off-TV VHS tapes of the original Star Wars trilogy every time we visited. This is a classic.

This is an epic movie. It's basically the gateway drug of sci-fi movies.
