I hoped to learn more about mathematical genius. Instead, I learned about being crazy. I'm not sure if that was good or bad. Good, I guess. How does one know if one is sane? Particularly if everyone says you're a genius? The movie was easier to get through than the book.

Russell Crowe at his dramatic best. Entertaining and extremely thought-provoking throughout.
Cons: Glosses over many of the undesirable character traits of John Nash, though they might have taken away from our sympathy for the character.

Hunch recommended this movie to me a couple months ago, and I watched it and I loved it so much. It's such a deep, beautiful movie. All the actors do such wonderful jobs, and the script's great.
Cons: It's not a light movie to watch, and it can make some people uncomfortable.

Russell Crowe is superb in this movie based on a true story. Jennifer Connelly also does an incredible job aging from college student to senior citizen. A very intense and interesting movie.
Cons: Movies about this type of personality are not everyone's cup of tea. People uncomfortable with the though of schizophrenia would probably not like this movie!

It's a dense study of a genius-personality and a reminder that we cannot look into anothers head...
Cons: It's no light fare.
